Meet the flock
We have an assortment of Khaki Campbells, Cayugas, a White Chinese Goose, an African Grey Goose and Welsh Harlequins.
Yuga
Yuga is our beautiful Cayuga duck that shimmers brilliant hues of green and purple when the sun reflects off of her. She starts spring off by laying all black eggs, and as the season progresses the color of the eggs lightens, until the fall, when the eggs are completely white.
Khaki Campbells
Khaki Campbells love foraging and are our most prolific egg layers. They are also extremely inquisitive. We have one Khaki in particular that will pick up any wind blown feathers or leaves and run off with them.
Lucy
Lucy is our resident Chinese Goose. All though Lucy is disabled, she does not let that hinder her. She is extremely friendly and is quite happy to have a conversation with you anytime. After a consultation with a veterinarian that specializes in waterfowl, we were all in agreeance that it's best for Lucy to live out her life rather than to opt for a high risk procedure.
Peaches
Peaches is an African Grey who is usually found hanging out with Lucy weeding or roaming with the Welsh flock.
Welsh Harlequins
Prolific egg layers and eggcelent foragers.
